Elopement Photography in Mountain Home, Arkansas

INTIMATE CEREMONIES · MOUNTAIN HOME & THE OZARKS

Eloping is one of the most personal ways to say "I do" — just the two of you, somewhere beautiful, focused on what actually matters. I photograph elopements across the Ozarks — around Mountain Home, throughout Northern Arkansas, and into Southwest Missouri — from the Buffalo River to Mountain View. Take a look at a few favorites below, then pick the coverage that fits your day and book online.

An elopement is entirely your own — your vows, a place that means something, and a day that moves at your pace. I keep it relaxed and unscripted, guiding you gently so it feels like yours, not a photo shoot. Say your vows somewhere beautiful and close to home — Mirror Lake in Mountain View, along the White River, on the Buffalo River, or at Norfork or Bull Shoals Lake. My packages range from a quick "just the vows" hour to a four-hour half-day with portraits and a few guests, and each one includes professional editing of every photo, a private gallery to keep, and personal location guidance based on the season and light. Eloping farther out — elsewhere in Northern Arkansas, Southwest Missouri, or a destination — or dreaming of a longer day? Let's plan it together on a quick consultation call.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does an elopement photographer cost near Mountain Home?

Elopement coverage with Michele McCoy Photography starts at $600. There are four packages by coverage time — Just the Vows (1 hour, $600), Standard (2 hours, $800), Signature (3 hours, $1,000, the most popular), and Extended (4 hours, $1,300) — each with professional editing of every photo, a private online gallery, and personal location guidance. Travel within about an hour of Mountain Home is bundled in. You can book your date right on the booking page.

Where can we elope near Mountain Home?

Michele photographs elopements at beautiful spots within about an hour of Mountain Home — Mirror Lake in Mountain View, along the White River, on the Buffalo River, and at Norfork Lake and Bull Shoals Lake, among others. Tell her the vibe you're after and she'll help you choose the perfect place for the season and light. (A few locations, like Steel Creek on the Buffalo, require an advance permit — she'll guide you through it.)

What's included in an elopement package?

Every package includes your chosen hours of coverage, professional editing of every photo (not just a curated few), a private online gallery to download, share, and keep, and personal location guidance based on the season and light. No stiff posing — Michele guides you the whole way, so the day feels relaxed and natural.

Can we bring a few guests?

Absolutely. Elopements are centered on the two of you, but a handful of your favorite people are welcome — the 2-, 3-, and 4-hour packages leave room for guests, portraits, and multiple spots. Just share a rough head count in the booking questionnaire.

We want to elope farther away, or for a longer day — can you do that?

Yes! If your ceremony is more than about an hour from Mountain Home, or you're imagining something longer than four hours, that's a custom day — book a quick Elopement Consultation Call and Michele will design it with you. She loves to travel for the right elopement.

How do we book, and is a deposit required?

For elopements within about an hour of Mountain Home, pick your package and date right on the booking page — a 50% retainer secures it, with the balance due 7 days before your date. For farther-out or longer days, start with the consultation call and Michele will put together a custom plan.

What about the officiant, marriage license, and permits?

You'll handle the officiant, marriage license, and any location permits — Michele will point you to what's needed and help with timing and spots. She's your photographer and location guide, not your planner, which keeps your day simple and personal.

When will we get our elopement photos?

Your fully edited gallery is delivered through a private online gallery, typically within about 4 to 5 weeks. Michele also reaches out before the day to help finalize your timeline and locations.

What's the best time of day to elope for photos?

Michele will help you time your ceremony for beautiful light — often around golden hour near the end of the day. When you pick your start time, keep sunset in mind (especially for the longer packages), and she'll suggest an adjustment if the timing looks tight on light.
